The present study investigated the dual mediating role of loneliness and reasoning bias in the path between social anxiety and paranoia. A total of 297 adults completed self-report questionnaires including: Social Interaction Anxiety Scale(SIAS), Paranoia Suspiciousness Questionnaire(PASQ), UCLA Loneliness Scale version 3, Self-relevant and Self-as-target Questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted through mediation analysis using SPSS PROCESS macro. The results of this study were as follows: First, all study variables (social anxiety, loneliness, reasoning bias, and paranoia) had a significant positive correlation with each other. Second, the relationship between social anxiety and paranoia was partially dual mediated by loneliness and reasoning bias. The clinical implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
